Resolutions and thank-you's

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! Ü

I'm kind of embarrassed with the way I presented my resolutions; just now I've spotted some typos. Damn, am I the Krizelle Lacson who was Managing Editor for SSAM's school organ? Anyway, atleast I admit that I'm not perfect, right? :P

Really, I've got to read some books. My brain cells are dying.

And here's my thank you's. I know it isn't complete, so please forgive me. =)

And wait - is that a "respectfully" I see there?! It's supposed to be "respectively"! This is embarrassing, really. I should be reading books right now. I haven't read a novel for more than a month already.

By the way, do you know that those born under the Year of the Horse will be having a difficult time in the next Chinese calendar? And I'm a Horse girl (WTH "Horse girl"?)! Boo.

HELP

Do you know someone - anyone - who has VIP tickets to the My Chemical Romance concert?

I called TicketWorld, and they told me that the VIP tickets were sold out. :'-(

Damn, I've been waiting for MCR for two and a half years, and TicketWorld tells me that the VIP tickets are sold out?! NO!

I need to get a VIP ticket. I want to see MCR's every move, hear Gerard's every breath, and I want the chance for them to look at me straight in the eye and remember me amongst the sea of faces.

I've prayed very hard for them to come, and now that they're here, I may lose my chance to see them up close; I may lose the chance to be just five feet away from them.

So, if you know anyone who has a VIP ticket, please - tell me. I'm going to exchange their ticket with: 1. One Row B Gold ticket, and 2. 3000 pesos cash.

Please, please, please. I've waited for more than two years. Help meeee.

Holiday cheer

It's been a long time! Sorry, I've gotten lazy at blogging. ^^

---

Saturday, December 22: My parents and I went to Kolorete (the best-est surplus shop in the world) to buy me a pair of jeans for Christmas. But before that, we went to Greenhills to buy Aby, Miguel, and Ace (my cousins) their Christmas gifts; to dad's office for him to fix some of his things; and to Mamonluk to eat our lunch.

I had a blast with my parents. They're so fun to be with and I feel comfortable around them. Well, honestly, I prefer to be with them than to be with most of my friends (yup, I'm that family oriented).

Anyway, we went to Kolorete after eating at Mamonluk, and after thirty minutes or so of trying out the jeans, I finally found two pairs which I like. The problem was I only had to have one. I was deliberating long and hard that dad got impatent and decided to - teehee - buy the two pairs! Lucky!

All the jeans at Kolorete costs 1,500 pesos, regardless of the brand. And do you know which brands I bought?

Levi's and Victoria Beckham, dude. :D
(Victoria Beckham jeans? Originally 15,000 freaking pesos!)

Shiiiiny!

If you want some totally awesome jeans for only 1,500 pesos, go to Kolorete. They sell international brands such as Seven Jeans, True Religion, Citizens Of Humanity, Victoria Beckham, and so much more! The store also has a separate section for tees and bags (Gucci, LeSportSac...). And let me remind you that the reason why everything's cheap is because it's a surplus shop, but the quality is still A+. Ü
Kolorete is located at Timog Avenue, near the GMA building. It's in the row of stores found behind Ponciana's Restaurant, across Off The Grill. Hope you shop there.Ü

Rewind: Friday, December 21, I was hanging out with mom in her car when "Dead" was played on Magic 89.9. I enjoyed the song, of course - My Chemical Romance is my favorite band, and the vocalist is the father of my future baby my favorite, er, vocalist. So imagine my shock when, after the song, the DJ's said "This band's going to have a concert here in the Philippines. Yes, My Chemical Romance, live in the Fort, Taguig, on January 25..."

OMFG. How could the DJ say that ever so calmly when MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE IS THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!! Everyone should be running amok the streets now! And me? I should be reserving a VIP ticket now!!!

So here's the plan: I'm going to call Viva Concerts/ Ticket World and reserve a VIP ticket (6,000 pesos) for myself. I'd most prefer to have a seat here:

Second, the cash. I already have 3000 pesos here, and I'll get the other half from "Santa" (since he didn't give me anything this Christmas... pfft), who already approved. Yippeeee!!! I've been such a good girl this year that Santa's being so unbelievably kind. Ü And besides, the concert's going to be just a week before my birthday, so he might as well think of this as a Christmas and birthday gift for me.

So, the only problem I've got now is:

1) That I can't find a VIP ticket
2) Transportation - my ninong Joji should be driving me to and from The Fort, but he can be very unreliable.

But wait, I shouldn't think of those things. Use The Secret, Kring, and you shall get whatever you want!

Gerard♥, My Chemical Romance, here I come!!!

We'll carry on!!!

(I should make the most outof using The Secret: aside from getting a VIP ticket, I'll also be able to meet and greet My Chemical Romance!)

P.S. If you're willing to donate cash, please do :-'( Consider that your Christmas and birthday gift for me, please?

---

December 25, fun day! Words cannot describe how fun Christmas was. Anyway, I'll be posting pictures as soon as mum puts them on the PC. ;D

---

Today, my friends and I went to visit Dian at her house. She's recovering from dengue, and if I hadn't read her blog post about her getting discharged, then we would have went to Makati Medical City and made a fool out of ourselves there. Haha ;D

Anyway, we had a great time at Dian's. Though the Lucky Me! Noodles were a bit too salty (it was Shan's fault), we ate lots and laughed lots. Sigh, I really missed my barkada. Ü

Let me introduce you to the members of Kada Siete!

Kada Siete! From left: Shan, Dian, Che, Joan, Hams, Me, and Jenny (April's not here!)

Wacky pose!
Joan! The funniest in the group, and probably the one with the sharpest wit.
Hamille! The most hard-working in the group, and also the most paranoid. ^___^
Jenny (the one on my left), the horsiest (kidding XD); and Dian (on my right), the smartest (next to me, of course! Haha!)
Che! The richest in the group! And the one who loves Koreanovelas the most ^_^
Shan! The LOUDEST in the group!

And April! She wasn't with us a while ago, but anyway, she's one of those who laugh without any reason (to put simply, abnoy ^__^)

After going to Dian's house, our clique went to Robinsons Metroeast to, originally, watch a movie, but we decided to do so some other time. We just talked about the plans for our next trip. But I left a little early, since I have to have a good impression on dad (concert tickets... haha ;D).

It was sweet of Joan and Jenny to accompany me to the exit of Robinsons (actually, I forced them to accompany me). The funny thing was the three of us had jackets, so we wore them ala-F4.

Hah! Nice jackets, though we didn't capture Jenny's.

A better shot, but I got a fugly face >.<

So that's about it for today... but wait. I got tagged by Karla

TARA LOVE!!!

O.MY.GOD. I'm sensing something between these two people (erase that guy in the middle)!!! Vanessa (team Malaysia) and Rovilson (team Philippines) of the Amazing Race Asia=couple? I hope so!!! :))) ♥

I remember last night's episode...
(In Japan's subway, Vanessa and Rovilson talking)
Vanessa: What's your name again?
Rovilson: (*Grins) What do you want it to be?

And here are some suspicious messages in their Multiply pages (don't ask me how I got these)...

Rovilson on Natasha's (team Thailand) site:

Aug 15, 2007 3:04 AM
The sisters left yesterday. I can't take this emotional roller coaster every freakin' week. Im breaking up with all of you! C'mon heart.....let the healing begin.....

Natasha on Rovilson's page

Aug 15, 2007 5:41 AM
it's not breaking up. it's merely changing the dynamics of our relationships...
*sigh*

long distance relationships suck!
By "sisters", Rov's referring to Pamela and Vanessa. Aiee! I feel like a kid again! <3

There's another, though I can't find a video of it. Vanessa has a Sony Cybershot commercial, and with her is Rovilson. They're a couple in the commercial.

Sigh. I can't take this anymore! I'm so happy for both of them (if there really is something to be happy about)!

Mayonnaise and Beer

COOL :D Source: FMBV.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar...and the beer.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes." The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends, your favorite passions--things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else--the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. "Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented.

The professor smiled. "I’m glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of beers."

Feeling the Christmas spirit

At long last, Christmas vacation! *throws confetti*

---

Last Sunday, my kabarkada, Jenny, went to our house to wait for her parents; they were going to sing Christmas carols to us for their church. And because Sunday is our family day (the day when our family and relatives gather), Jenny was kinda shy 'coz there were many people at the house. But she eventually warmed up, thanks to Tita Baby who was so funny.

Jenny stayed for about two hours, I guess. Then the choir of her parents came. They sing so
good!

The choir sang four songs. It's too bad I didn't get to record the first song, it was the best of all four. You know, that fast one - Carol of the Bells. That's my fave Christmas carol.

In connection to this topic... I'm not going to be able to complete Simbang Gabi anymore. :'( Simbang Gabi in our subdivision is at 4 A.M. (they might as well call it Simbang Madaling Araw), and on the third day, our maid woke up late, so I wasn't able to start the mass, meaning my attendance isn't complete anymore. :( I'm really disappointed; I thought I'm going to be able to complete it and have a wish of mine come true. But, well, God has His reasons.

---

Yesterday, I went to Sta. Lucia to meet up with mom (for no special reason). After strolling around for a bit, she left me on my own 'coz she had work to do. I bought Christmas gifts for my family then. I bought gifts from Bench for mum, Bryan, and my monito/monita; from National Book Store for Kyle; and from a cigarette/lighter store for dad (well, I cant think of anything else that he'll appreciate -_-). My savings are gone! Good as gone! And I still have to buy something for Ashleiy, Cha, and for my Christmas Kringle with my clique. Where will I get the money? Care to donate? Ü

---

I suddenly remember something that happened in the past.

Our maid, Ate Vangie, was new then, and she was only 15 that time, I guess. Anyway, here's how it went...

Bryan (my younger brother): *Holding a tetrapacked juice* Ate Vangie, kunan mo 'kong straw! (Ate Vangie, get me a straw!)
Ate Vangie: Oki.
(Ate Vangie then looks for a straw, then when she comes back...)
Ate Vangie: *Hands Bryan the "straw"*
Bryan: BAT MO KO BINIGYAN NG SCREWDRIVER?!? (Why'd you give me a screwdriver?!) Sabi ko straw. STRAW! (I said straw!)
Ate Vangie: ...Ano ba yung straw... -_- (What's a straw, anyway?)

LOL. Good old times. :) But! Ate Vangie's not like that anymore, of course. Five years in this household taught every one of us lots of things. But I do remember her killing a fly with her bare hands (the way we kill mosquitoes), haha! Gosh. I just lalalove Ate Vangie. Ü

---

You know what?

Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn... she's pregnant! o___O Freaky man. And she's only 16. Source: Yahoo.

Honestly, kids nowadays... (as if I'm not one. Haha.)

So much to do, so little time

"Me, fail english? That's unpossible." -Matt Groening
We still have some recollection crap to attend to tomorrow. Noooo!!! I'm so freakin' tired already, man.

Anyway, busy week as usual. Rai, JuBa, JoBa, Jil and I had to record a story for our English 102. I had fun actually, my group's so funny. We always joke around so I really looked forward to doing our project.

Yeah, that's us. ;P Clockwise from left: JoBa, me, Justine, Jil, and Rai

I don't have anything to write about. Nothing's happening in my life right now. Well, I'm waiting for Christmas vacation so that I could finally fix my life (life=studies. LOL XP). I made such a mess these past two months that the only way things could return to normal is through a long, fruitful vacation. Yes! Only a week to go! You could go through this, KrinGALING. Ü

---

For those of you who missed the Amazing Race Asia Season 2 episode 2 which was shot here in the Philippines...

Chenen!!! Ü (Watch it!)

If you want to finish the episode, you could either check the menu or type 'Amazing Race Asia 2 Ep 2' in Youtube.

Oh goodness, Marc and Rovilson are first to arrive to the pit stop again. Which is good! I'm mighty happy and proud of them. Henry and Terri are also a great team, they fight a lot but I love them. They're actually kinda funny, especially Terri 'coz she shouts a lot. Haha. But other people just damn hate her, even some Filipinos! Come on, people! The race has got her stressed out so she's cranky, of course, but I don't think she's like that all the time!

Amazing Race Asia is my favorite show of all time. I can't wait for the next episode. Go team Philippines!

---

By the way, last Sunday, dad, mom, me, and my brothers checked the Mini Cooper which my tito's cousin is selling. And the Mini Cooper was just... so beautiful.

See that? It's really nice: very shiny and a head-turner. But it's as if dad will buy this car. He wouldn't. And to think it's being sold at only 2oo-300K pesos. Well, it's okay. Dad said something about having a Mini Cooper when I'm only a beginner; that those large trucks wouldn't see the car and might smash it, so it's cool with me.

So I have much plans this vacation. Aside from the driving lessons, I'm also going to take up cooking lessons (more of that later), and hopefully piano lessons. And there's also my application of tranfer to UP. And... there's also my family's (and relatives') plan of going to either Boracay or Batanes(!). So much to do! I can't wait for summer! Ü

Okay, so about the cooking lessons. I don't know how to cook. Really, I'm such a loser. I feel that I'm so worthless as I can't do anything; my true potential is still untapped even at this old age of mine (sixteen!). And I believe in doing absolutely everything while I'm still alive, you know? That's the only way I could reach my ultimate goal: self-actualization (thank you, Maslow!). That's sort of like Nirvana, I guess.

Here's how my conversation (on the cooking lessons) with mom went...

Me: Mom?
Mom: Yeah?
Me: Could I have cooking lessons this summer?
Mom: (Without hesitation) Okay.

I was like, what? She approved that fast? Wow, uh, great, I guess

One reason why I'd like to learn to cook is to have more of a feeling of self-importance. But the primary reason is... "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" Hahahaha. Come on, I want to know how to cook when I get my first boyfriend, man! (Yes, I'm an NBSB. No BF Since Birth. And also a girl who has NBK. Never Been Kissed. Haha. Am I sharing too much of my innocence already?)

Alright, long post, I guess. This is an accomplishment. Sorry for the typos.

Uninterested

"We wishoo a Merry Christmas..." -funny.

I've gotten my application for transfer in Ateneo. But it seems that I can't find a course there which interests me.

Translation: I really am meant to be in U.P., aren't I? (I knew it.)

Hana Yori Dango! Loves~

Wait, before anything else...
Do you know where I could buy a (pirated) DVD of these shows?
  • Hana Yori Dango (anime)
  • Princess Hours (with good subtitle)

If you know, please, please tell me.

---

Yes! I'm finally back from hell! And I've got lots of things to put here.

First off, I experienced a hell of a week because I crammed a lot. I did everything the last minute, plus there was always the sense of urgency, so I was always stressed out. Add that to the absolute hate I feel for my school. Tragic.

Anyway, I don't want to talk about school anymore. I'm jaded. I just want to get out of there. School's driving me crazy.

---

I want to share this with all of you.

When you want something, what do you usually say?

"I wish,"

I wish I could pass the test, I wish he'd ask me out, whatever.

I'm telling you, don't use "I wish" use "I hope" instead.

Why?

According to my brother's English teacher, "I wish" is asking for something which you know is almost impossible. However, "I hope" is asking for something which you know is possible. And besides, what's the Tagalog word for "hoping"?

"Umaasa" Expecting.

See? So always make sure to use the word hope intead of wish. Besides, the former has a better ring than the latter, right?

---

Last tuesday, I finished reading Hana Yori Dango, a manga which I've downloaded from this site. Actually, Meteor Garden is based from this manga. And what can I say... I'm still suffering (yes, suffering) from a hangover. IT'S FREAKING GREAT!!! Freaking great. One of if not my favorite Japanese comic of all time. Ü

Characters:

The Heroine:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Makino Tsukushi (Meteor Garden: Shan Cai)

The F4:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Doumyouji Tsukasa (Dao Ming Si)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Hanazawa Rui (Huaze Lei)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Mimasaka Akira (Meizuo)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Nishikado Soujirou (Ximen)

The friends:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Matsuoka Yuuki (Xiao Yu)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Aoike Kazuya (Qing He)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Toudou Shizuka (Teng Tang Jin)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Endou Makiko (Makiko's friend at Eitoku High)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Kin-san (Son of a politician)

The family:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Mama and Papa (Makino's parents)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Doumyouji Tsubaki (Dao Ming Zhuang)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Doumyouji Kaede (Dao Ming Feng)

Troublemakers:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Sakurako (Rich girl who was once very ugly)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Thomas (Sakurako's friend)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Junpei (A model)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Shigeru (Doumyouji Tsukasa's supposed-to-be fiancee)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Classmates (Bitches)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Kunisawa Amon (Look-alike of Doumyouji Tsukasa)

I recommend this manga. It isn't sexual or the like, but it's romantic. Aside from that, Hana Yori Dango's comical. Let me show you one of the scenes (click to enlarge):

Haha. That scene still gets me. XD

Anyway, after I finished reading (and even while I was reading it), I just can't help be jealous of the heroine. I hope someone like Doumyouji Tsukasa would love me. I want someone like him! Why? Coz he's rich! Kidding aside, he's very loyal, and very, very loving, and he likes to show it. Ah basta! Just read the manga and you'll get me!

Aside from that... I want to be in love. Fufufu. Mushy mode. Ah man, Hana Yori Dango just influences my emotions too much. But really, I don't know what it feels to be in love. I'm an N.B.S.B. (No BF Since Birth) girl. Basta, I hope to find someone like Doumyouji. ^^

Read Hana Yori Dango and you'll never regret it. :)

Today I cut class (Math and Sociology) to watch Batanes with Cha. The movie's great! Yup, yup. I like it. But the ending was a bit... terse. Nakakabitin. Ken Zhu/Chu got so fat! But I like him, he's a good actor, and handsome. He and Iza are so cute.

Anyway, after the movie, Cha and I went window-shopping. The salesladies at Mango reprimanded us for taking pictures in the dressing room. -_- Whattheef I didn't know that taking pictures weren't allowed in the dressing room, sorry.

But before Mango, we went to People Are People...

Oh, Love love love these shoes!

Damn, I look 10 times uglier when Cha's beside me -_- Demon, be gone!

No good. I still look 10 times uglier.

Me taking a picture while Cha's beautifying herself (and to think she was a lesbian back at first semester... ^^V)

Fine, you win! I accept defeat only from you!

Cha looks retarded here. Haha. IloveyouCha. :)

Mango: then here's our pictures which caused a fiasco among the salesladies...

Goths.

Pregnant people on tube tops... -_-

She doesn't know how to pose for a solo picture!

...Yeah, right.

AND ANOTHER BIG, BIG, "YEAH, RIGHT!!!" XD

Aw, whatever Cha XD Visit her blog at capricious-insanity.blogspot.com. Ü

Anyway, it's almost midnight and I'm getting sleepy. Good night!

I miss Blogger

I miss writing. And I obviously am not as good a writer now as I was before because of my laziness. I have a harder time detailing my ideas,...
