Platonic Affection

An amusing thing about my friends and I is that we’re never affectionate.

I know how some girls frequently say “I love you” to their girl friends, plus give them long hugs and some sweet words. They may kid around every once in a while, but you could still feel that atmosphere of love around them.

This applies minimally to my clique. Since we’re birds of a feather, it translates to one thing: we’re very palengkera. We’re loud, barbaric, shameless, and a tad bit uncivilized (which, occasionally, makes me very embarrassed to be with them). We laugh all the time, and we’re very sneaky and street-smart. You may think I’m exaggerating - yes, we do conform to society’s rules, but we put a twist to it. Which, as I pointed out, makes us a bit uncivilized.

You may sense an air of affection around us - but not without sensing the air of clownishness first. See, we won’t hug one another unless it’s time to go home, and we rarely say “I love you” to one another. Both things, if done at random moments, make us laugh and cringe. We started out as a manly group of girls, and we’re still that bro towards one another.

But it’s pretty obvious that they’re going to be my friends for life.

About this blog + before Xmas

What's up people? I decided that apologizing before every update isn't necessary anymore - every update would just be equal to an apology XD

Anyway, I've been going gaga over DeviantArt lately. According to Google Chrome, I visit dA more than I do Facebook. I just love the art community there - very supportive, and there's no bashing at all (very much unlike Youtube - do you see the comments people leave there? T_T). Pleasr click here in order to see my art (which still needs improvement - honestly XD)

So last December 22 Ashleiy gave me a treat and brought me to the Podium's Australian Hair and Beauty College. I got a makeover; she had her hair trimmed. (*Pics from Ashleiy's)

Ashleiy

Kring with awkward smile

Also, I finally met Ashleiy's boyfriend! Ashleiy's one of my really super-duper mega close friends, and yet I've never met her BF even though they've been together for a year now! T_T So it was good to FINALLY, FINALLY meet him XD

Hi, Papa Paolo!

My high school barkada had a Christmas party afterwards :) (as in right after my date with Ashleiy LOL) We had so much food, and it was super fun! The catch, though, is that we had to bring our partners - and you know, pretty much everyone in the barkada has a lover already T_T My friend Roseanne and I became partners; Dian's boyfriend, Emman, couldn't come, so that made us the Three Musketeers XD

That's us! Sorry, the pic's too small -_-
(L-R) Shan, Dian, Joan, Jenny, Hams, Me, April

So to change the topic...

I don't want to give my blogger up! T_T I've had so many previous blogs that I feel like I need to stick to this, or else I'll give up writing altogether. So even though I update rarely, please know that I have no plans of abandoning my blogger <3>

(Did you know that I actually had plans of being famous through my blogging? AHAHAHA! Pretty much like Xiaxue, yes? I thought, "Hey, I write well, plus I'm spontaneous and a pretty fun person, PLUS I never run out of ideas, so there really is a chance!" But because I don't update regularly, it'll take a LONG while before that happens XD)

Oh and I'm sorry to my online friends whose blogs I haven't been visiting lately -_- Sorry, weird things pop in my head whenever I'm at the computer chair - I totally forget to visit blogs and go to other KID-FRIENDLY sites, instead <3>

When you've got lots of time in your hands...

Hee. I haven't updated for the longest time (Hm, I've been using that as an opening line for quite some time now)! And the longer the time I don't blog, the more stories I accumulate! So, shall we start? :D

I. Barkada

Last Thursday Shan, Joan, Jenny, Maja, Nikko, Ame, and I got together to swim at Ame's condo. I had BV's (bad vibes) while on the trip to her place - I even cried, the hell - but because my friends aren't the type to make a big deal out of it, I eventually felt better emotionally. Thank goodness, these guys know me well.

Me while driving Kiko

...The people inside the car. It's amazing how these guys find ways to fit themselves in the car. Both Ame and Joan were at the passenger's seat XD

After eating, Ame, Joan, Maja and I went swimming

Playing... water wrestling? LOL XD But eventually I switched with Maja and carried her instead

While we were swimming, Jenny and Nikko spent some quality time together...

...and Shan studied. Nursing *sigh*

I got home at about 10 PM. Thank god I talked to mum over the phone before going home - it was in that conversation that she told me off XD HAHAHA, it's not my fault she forgot that I was going to go swimming!

II. Photo Shoot

Last August 15, Ashleiy, Elisa, and I went to UP Diliman to do a shoot. It was for an exhibit in which Ashleiy's part of; the official pictures are going to be released on Sept. 15 or 16, I think. Anyway, the theme of the shoot is coffee, so you'll see us holding mugs in some of the pictures.

Note: Please, please don't steal the pictures!

So, here are the people behind the shoot XD

Elisa Aquino
Thunderpopcola.tumblr.com

Ashleiy Kasala
Ashleiy.multiply.com

And, well, me XD

Here are some of the pictures which I edited. These aren't the final pictures; I haven't seen them yet, actually.

Elisa's actually 2 batches lower than us, but despite that, she's a really good model! Really confident and comfortable in front of the camera. She actually teased me and said, "Ate, you can't do my poses; you're so stiff." Sorry na XD

I hope that I'd be able to have more shoots, since I would want to show the pictures to my future son/daughter. Hahaha! Yun pa rin yung dahilan? XD

III. School

With regards to academics, I can say that my performance this sem is much better compared to the last. The only problem I have as of now is Fil 14 (Kring, Fil?! But you speak Filipino!). I'm not failing the subject! It's just that I need to catch up in order to get a good grade.

With regards to more personal matters *ahem ahem* HAHAHA! Once again, I can't share my story in public -_- If I know you, though, and you want to find out, you can ask me personally or email me. I can't divulge anything because... well. These matters aren't like before. They're more, er, complex?

Oh! I have a happy crush! :D For some reason, I always get attracted to guys who look like Gerard Way.

Here's the scene.

I had a meeting with my Comm group mates last Tuesday. When we finished, I got out of the room, and crap - through the windows of the building, I saw that it was raining hard. I thought I had my umbrella with me, so I rummaged my bag, only to find that it wasn't there - I left it in my car. How was I supposed to go out of the building?

As if hearing my complaints, God answered and told me to scan my surroundings. Then I saw him - the Gerard Way guy, whom I of course know personally :)) - walking in the rain, a big umbrella in his hand. Since it seems to be the only solution, I ran towards him and went under his umbrella. He was a gentleman, offering to go with me to my destination, but since we were heading towards the same area, we just talked about random things :) Hehe.

Anyway, gotta scoot! I have to finish a project -_-

Thank you for giving me Hyde

Dad got home from Las Vegas last Tuesday. He knows I've been wanting an iPod (I was supposed to get one for free but it didn't push through), so I expected it to be his present for me. But no - that wasn't what he got me. It was this:

An Acer Aspire One netbook. A netbook's like a laptop, only smaller and lighter. You wont get back/shoulder pains from carrying it with you in a bag. Thanks, dad ;___; I really am touched. You always finds ways to surprise me.

It sounds so goth-y, but I named my netbook Hyde Lovelace (a guy). Hyde's a cool name, whereas Lovelace, well, I got it while I was doing some Facebook tests :P

Anyway, my brothers and I goofed around with Hyde, since he has a built-in webcam.

O hai thar 8D

Kyle, Kring, Bryan as usual goofy selves

"Bryan... you did take a shower, didn't you?"

Bryan's still thinking of a way to piss me off. *Pokes Kyle*

Gasp, look at those iron-hard abs!

"Ate, let's go upside down!"

Also, last Friday, my grade school mates and I met up after... WHOA 7 YEARS. We were a big, happy group back at 6th grade, but we stopped hanging out when we graduated. An overwhelming feeling of nostalgia hit us while we were chatting in Facebook, so four of us met up in order to plan a reunion party.

Yum McDonalds! Bea (@ left) is video chatting with us all the way from New Jersey. Good thing Hyde also has a built-in microphone :)

Ngaaaw, here we are showing Bea our grade school graduation pictures! Joca (@center) is holding my picture (left hand) HAHA

*Heart* we miss you, Bea!

I also hung out at Joca's place yesterday, since I was dismissed early at school. She lives in Concepcion, Marikina while I live in the part of Cainta which is near Taytay, meaning we live far away from each other XD

Me with Joca's pet poodle, France!

Here's an interesting fact to all Boys Over Flowers fans:
Jo Carol voiced over Ha Jae Kyung's voice! Jo Carol is a talent of ABS-CBN since two years ago, when she won Hero TV's dubbing contest. Aside from BOF, she's dubbed loads of animes, too!

See this site:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxTqqzOPyhw
You'll hear her at around 02:23 :)

See how Hyde helped me reconnect with my friends? ;_; I'm really happy. I have to thank dad again.

Kiko Machine + Voids

I was at Ashleiy's place yesterday when she, out of the blue, invited me to do a photo shoot. I was a bit hesitant at first (since I was clueless on how to pose haha /fail. And aside from that, I was worried about the verbal harassment we'd be getting HAHA. Those male passers-by who would inject sleazy remarks at you? That. That's one of my biggest pet peeves.) But eventually my go-getter attitude gave in, and voila - instant photo shoot in the middle of the day!

Hello XD
Getting ready for the pictorial

Ash
Ashleiy's preparing herself!

Kring
I'm preparing myself, too!

Ash
Smile, Ashleiy :)

Kring
Smile, Kring...? LOL

Niggahs
The Niggahs with Kiko, my car :)

Whew! We were sweating by the time we finished. I think we have over 500(!) pictures of our photo shoot, but we chose to edit the best ones :) If you want to see the other sets of pictures, you could view them here.

Anyway.
I'm feeling something quite unique right now.
Unique as I've never felt this before.

Let me think as I write.
Let's say that you are attached to someone - be it a lover or a friend. You two share a bond, and you feel that you are special to (or are being given special attention by) this person, but even though that's the case, you feel so... hollow. You don't feel totally empty, though, but you know that there's a void in you for this person, and for this person only. Maybe it's because you don't trust him or her (I'm coming to a realization as I write) - maybe it's because you are suspicious of his or her motives.

Or it could be because you don't know that person well, and you're fooling yourself into thinking that you do.

Oh, wow. I'm right again. You're such a genius, Kring. HAHAHA

Summer, thank you for saving my life

I'm extremely saddened.
Because.
The two Davids are coming here - just when I'm about to go to their country.
We aren't fated to meet one another :( Or maybe not YET - since maybe both of them aren't ready for a relationship yet (or are having a relationship with one another.......... O_O *knocks on wood*).

BUT I'M REALLY UPSET! I WANT TO WATCH THEM! HELL, AI 7 is the only AI season I've ever watched, so of course I give them much more love than I do to finalists of other seasons. HUHUHU WHYYYYY D: /wrist red

Anyway, summer has just officially started for me. I did a couple of academic-related things even a week after my classes ended, just so I could pull my grades up. BUT WAIT LET'S NOT MENTION THAT ANYMORE, SHALL WE.

Last week in pictures!

March 25, 2009: Last day of classes. Our literature exam was crap, but thankfully I managed to get a B.
Had a picture taken with my block, TR (TrueRuv)! We're incomplete here, though.

Went to SM Megamall with my block in Fil after, to celebrate our classmates' birthday.
Happy, happy celebration indeed. Happy birthday, James and Charlie! :)

I had a blast and felt comfortable even though I was a stray cat (since they were all block mates, except for me :P)

Charlie, left; James, right. I gave 'em those big Toblerones! Haha!

My date for the day, Eddy XD

Thanks, Block Q! :)

March 27, 2009: Went to East Ortigas Mansions with my Best Faggit Friends (BFFs) to take a dip at the big pool! It was so hot that we just had to take a swim.

BFFs Joan, Ame, and Shan. I'm the one wearing the two-piece :)

These guys are the bestest :) I miss my clique!
(L-R: Ame, Joan, Kring, Shan)

Ame's youngest sibling, Inch. She's SOSOSOSO adorable! She talks a mile a minute!

So I haven't been in any other summer activity yet. But I'm expecting a lot more to come!

[ ] Swimming (again!) with BFFs
[ ] Clique April's birthday celebration
[ ] Swimming with Ashleiy!
[ ] Hangout at Ashleiy's crib
[ ] James' (yup, that guy up there!) birthday celebration again! (With the BFFs this time *u*)
[ ] Hangout at my crib with HS/college friends Rai and Jil
[ ] LOTS AND LOTS OF JOGGING
[ ] LOTS AND LOTS OF DRIVING MOMENTS WITH KIKO, MY CAR
[ ] Hong Kong
[ ] New York

YEY! I'm not taking up summer classes (which I think is actually kind of sad), but what the hell! I'm going to enjoy this summer and not waste it by just lying around at home!

Good news, bad news

My Aunt and cousin just arrived from England and they gave me awesome presents. LOL :D

Anyway, I'm starting to get tired from school. There are moments when I think about skipping all of my classes (and sometimes that does happen), and I care little about the consequences. I'm not so sure as to what the reason is, though; maybe I'm just drained, tired of the heavy amount of school work. Or maybe the fact that I'm freshman when I'm supposed to be a sophomore gets my head stuck to possibilities and what-ifs. Or maybe I'm just not inspired enough (I NEED AN ATENEAN BOYFRIEND D:). Or maybe I just think too negatively before even coming to classes?

I need to change my attitude! I just wish it's as easy being done as it is being said. I need to study a bit after getting home from school - I swear, I don't know how to study. I'm not sure if there's a routine or something. I've never studied academics my whole life, I swear. I got by in high school through stock knowledge, and through my freshman year in Miriam by sucking up to my professors (which worked brilliantly, as I was only a few decimals short of being a dean's lister). Ateneo is a big challenge to students like me.

Before I make you sad through my ramblings, I'll put in some good news: my close friend, Ashleiy, just celebrated her 20th birthday last November 28. The good news there is that she's freaking old, and I'm still freaking young at 17! LOL! XD We celebrated her birthday last Sunday - lots of visitors, and one of them was... an old flame (or the one I almost got - but that's just my imagination). And he's so... handsome O_O Argh! Not the Zohan type (Zohan's cute), he's more macho and... handsome and... handsome? T_T AND I'M SO EAGER TO SHARE WITH YOU GUYS HIS PICTURE! LOL! (To Ashleiy: If you're reading this, just keep it a secret XD) But of course, I don't want to post it here. Just add me up at YM: kaslacson :D

Oh, the reason I want to share his picture is so I could have everyone's opinion on whether he's really hot. Coz I think he is D: Let's chat so that I could tell you our history! XD

Anyway, I better shut my mouth now XD

Dropping forks

I literally dropped my fork two times last week. And I, er...acquired what it corresponds to in the Filipino adage.

I got a visit from a guy. He came over two times. (Click here. You must be in my contacts for you to view it :O)

His first visit was two nights ago. He arrived at about... 9:30 PM (and to think it was storming that night). But before you think of anything - two of my friends were at the house, too. All of us sang and danced the night away with the trusty Magic Sing (LMAO, he sings GREAT!). He, along with my friends, left at about 11:30 PM.

It was a shock that he came over, really. I never expected him to come because of the tropical storm. I was also nervous as it was our first time to really get to know each other.

The second visit was yesterday. He had a long break time so he came over the house to chill. Guess what? He didn't bother going to school anymore, tinamad na. -_- So he stayed from 1 to... 7:30 PM? But before you think of anything - Mum was there XD Again, we sang (thank God for the Magic Sing!), played with the dogs, talked and talked, and he also played with my little brother, Bryan.

Sooo... I just think of him as a friend XD LMAO. The way I write it, it's as if I'm writing for a gossip column or something. o_O

Why do I write so friggingly fugly today?! I'm so tired and lazy -____-

Anyway, about Zohan. If you want to see his Multiply account, check my Multiply guest book - he commented there with a simple emoticon. NYAHAHAHA.

The mushy and gooey love investigation pt. ii

Warning. School girl post coming through. Read with barf bag.

I'M SO HAPPY!
And yet I'm confused as to what the real deal between Zohan and I really is T_T Argh... who knew that men would be even more confusing then women?

Anyway, let me tell you all about it.

Zoology class always starts at 12:30, but yesterday I came to the classroom an hour early as I had to practice a report with my group mates. I was expecting that I'd be alone in the classroom for a long period of time, but surprisingly, Zohan and I entered the room at the same time (he went through one door; I got in through the other)! Gasp! Is this fate or what (ookayy...XD)?!

Since both of us were alone, the girl-ish, malandi voice inside my head said, "You must make a move!" So I did. I sat beside him, since, you know... it'd be awkard if we sat apart, in silence, for an hour (oh, really.). And we talked.

Me: ...So. What org are you joining?
Zohan: Glee Club.
M: Woooow, so you must be really good at singing! SAMPOL!
Z: *Laugh* No, not really.
M: Sige lang. Sample!
Z: *Laugh* But I have colds!
M: No that's okay! Sing please T_T
Z: ...What d'you want me to sing?
M: Um. *looks for songs in the MP3 player I'm holding* Closer (Ne-Yo)?
Z: Haha, no! I don't want to sing that. Black ang kumanta eh.
M: *Thinks... 'OMG, a racist T_T'*
Z: The singing voice of black people are so good. Mataas without effort.
M: *Thinks... 'Ah, hindi naman pala racist!' XD* ...I can't think of any song.
Z: Yung ano nalang... 'How did you know, I needed someone like you in my life'
M: *Dahil crush ko siya, todo react ako* SIGE!

He sang the first stanza. His voice is good! And to think he has colds.

So we talked some more; there were already few people in the class room.

Then he stood up, got his wallet from his bag (which was on another chair), headed to the door, and said, "Sama ka sa caf? Libre kita."

I didn't give myself time to think. I immediately agreed. When you think about it, parang makapal ang dating ng mukha ko. Hindi ko man lang tinurn-down ang offer niyang manlibre. Hindi na nga kasi ako nag-isip. :P

We had drinks; I thanked him profusely.

So we talked until we got back to the class room. My group mates were there; we had to discuss the report.

---

So it was dismissal and I saw my kabarkada, Jenny. She was with her friend and her friend's boyfriend. We hung out for a while; and I told them what had happened with Zohan a few hours before. Since I was also talking this over with a guy, I was hoping he'd tell me the meaning behind what Zohan did.

He said, "Ay, hindi. Nakikipag-kaibigan lang yun."

HAYNAKO! Kainis T_T

Is that really it? I'm gonna cry T_T (OA!)

---

Anyway, Zohan and I texted a while ago despite the fact that I'm Globe and he's Sun. But I'm kinda tired already, so I'll just save that story for next time :D

Sorry, mushy. Even I'm irritated with myself. :|

Waiter, oh waiter

Very quick, 3-minute post, as I wanna go to sleep early D: (It's actually 9:45! Gasp! *Big deal*)

I went to Robinsons Metroeast a while ago to meet up with my kabarkada, Jenny. You know why she *forced* me to go there? To eat at the friggin' Greenwich fast food restaurant. She has a crush on one of the waiters there and actually wore a very sexy kimono top + short shorts in order to impress him. What the effing hell XD Magkaka-crush ka na nga lang sa waiter pa. LOLz.

I asked Jenny, "So, if you get to give him your number... what happens, then? (Hidden message: Do you actually want to have a relationship with a waiter? -_-)"

She replied, "Not expecting anything, really. A one night stand's okay."

HUWAAAAAAT.

*She was just kidding, of course. If she was serious about that then I swear, the person I was talking to wasn't Jenny. It may have been someone who stole her skin and used it as a costume... or something -_-
*We didn't find the waiter. Day off, maybe? Oh well, we'll come back on Friday XD

Oh help

I need a breath of fresh air, and yet somehow, I want my old life back.

Hence I'm going to regularly update this blog again - I hope ;)

Anyway...

I am so not happy with how things are going so far. I'm kind of depressed. Maybe it's because my academics are spiraling downward? Or because my block isn't really the best block there is? Or maybe it's a mixture of both? Please don't let that be the case. :O

Explanation:

1. My academics are not so good. So far I've failed 3 long tests - Math, Zoology Lab, and Zoology lecture. How much worse can it get? Other than that, I'm completely disorganized...

I'm ranting right now, hahaha. Somehow I just want to laugh all of this off. I feel like a BIG laugh will make all my sadness disappear, and I remember how I write in this blog. Kind of humorous in a way, for me that is. Argh... I need to laugh! I need a laugh from non-Ateneo people! O_O Ateneo's... gah!

2. My block mates. You know how, in the first few days of school, almost every one of us says "Holy hell my block mates are the best in the world!!!" And little by little, day by day, you realize how mistaken you are? Well that's the stage I'm in right now. Don't get me wrong, though; I'm not in a fight with anyone in my block. It's just that the class somehow feels tense. There are a couple of B.V.s (Bad Vibes) between people here and there, and me, I'm trying my best to have good relations with everyone (Good thing no block mate of mine knows about this blog :3 I can type all I want). Add to that the "groupings" between block mates - and I'm a loner. BUT. That doesn't mean I'm uncool yo 8) Hahaha. I only mean that I don't stick with a particular group - I change groups depending on who I feel like talking to.

I really feel sad right now :( I need my friends. My barkada, Ashleiy, Cha - holy, I haven't seen all of them for about 2 months now. I NEED THEM! :|

Car Story

This is the car that I'm supposed to have.
The Volkwagen New Beetle.

Dad already gave a down payment for this, as he was planning to make it ours.

But unfortunately, Ninang Tetet decided that this is the car that she wants, thus dad backed down and gave way for her to buy it.

T_T

Heavens.

Dad already gave a down payment, but we won't be getting it in the end? So tragic. But it's okay; I'm still a beginner, and it wouldn't be nice if the car I destroy (haha) is a yellow New Beetle.

And the time will come when I'll be so rich, I could buy a hundred Volswagen cars without feeling bad.

A random thing happened two weeks ago. Take a look at the picture:

Do you spot anything?

A kitten! In the car's engine! Haha, so cute. Apparently our Labrador, Cindy, hates cats - she actually already killed two by crushing them in her mouth. When she spotted this kitten, it made a mad dash to mum's car's engine and stayed there for a long time. We tried making it go down, but nothing worked. Too bad, I wanted to pet it. -_-

By the way, dad's coming home from Hawaii today. He only stayed there for five days, goodness. Reminds me of when he also went to the States and stayed there for less than a week. I hope he bought Hawaiian King - it's a brand of chocolate with Macadamia nuts inside, and it tastes like... okay, so cliche - like Heaven on earth. But it's really good!

---

I have to tell you that, partly because of Chalfonso's influence, I got a bit interested in yaoi (yaoi=boy to boy). I know it's weird but, sigh, yaoi drawings are so cute. >_> Although I'm only interested in drawings and not on stories. I've already drawn yaoi, but I'll show it to you some other time.

Click here to see one of the yaoi artworks I found interesting on DeviantArt (hey, if you don't like the subject matter then it's none of your business T_T). I don't know why I suddenly had an interest in yaoi, but what the heck... why do I keep explaining myself?

And speaking of Chalfonso... T_T I hate her. She won "Best Female Head Turner" in her cousin's grad ball. But can you expect less when she looked like this?

Mind you, she took these pictures after the grad ball. T_T

But we do know that birds of the same feather flock together, so if she's beautiful, then what does that tell you about me? Hahaha. Whoo! THE AIR! XD

A comeback

Yes! I am so back from my hiatus. And I'm itching to write an update.

Anyway, I think the best way for me to express myself to allow myself to be frank. Before, I followed the norm and wrote or spoke an opinion that people wouldn't be displeased about, but now I'm more open to be - well, open - so that I could be true to myself.

1. A homage to Zara

Last Valentines day, my friends and I received news that our block mate, Zara, passed away. It has been known to me the following week that she committed suicide.

When talking about her and her death, everything to me seems to shift into a dreamlike mode: strange, unreal. See, it's my first time losing someone so young, and that someone happens to be a sweet and playful girl. I can't believe that she has planned all of this all along - it's not her. She's always happy.

But I have to admit, when Zara was still here, I never really liked her. I think she would have said the same thing about me. We just didn't click. But that doesn't matter anymore; whatever bitchy thing I do now wouldn't affect her anymore.

And is it right if I say that I talk to her even now? I talk to her when I think about her, and when I do, I'd tell her an honest truth that what she did wasn't right. That I'm furious that she took away her life, and that she has already gotten the attention she wanted. Didn't she even think of her family and her friends when she decided to end it all? It's foolish. But it's already happened.

Zara, I don't know where you really are, because religion dictates that you're suffering in the flames now. Wherever you are, that's where you deserve to be. Rest well.

II. Bb. Pilipinas

T______T

Why did she win?!

Well, yeah, she's beautiful, BUT - what the effing hell is with that effing english?!

Why did she win?!

Here's how her Q&A portion went:

Paolo Bediones: Janina, how are you?
Janina San Miguel: I'm fine.
Paolo Bediones: Alright, so you won two of the major awards - Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?
Janina San Miguel: No, I don't feel any pressure right now.
Paolo Bediones: Confident! Alright! Please choose a name of the judge.
Paolo Bediones: We have Miss Vivienne Tan.
Vivienne Tan: Good Evening.
Janina San Miguel: Good Evening.
Vivienne Tan: The question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to Binibining Pilinas?
Janina San Miguel: Well, my family's role for me is so important b'coz there was the wa- they're, they was the one who's... very... Hahahaha... Oh I'm so sorry, Ahhmm... My pamily... My family... Oh my god... I'm... Ok, I'm so sorry... I... I told you that I'm so confident... Eto, Ahhmm, Wait... Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b'coz I'm only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the top 10. Hmmm, so... but I said that my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.

Um, Janina? You didn't even answer the question?! Geez. Here's the video of the Q&A portion:

What's with the judges? Did her sense of humor charm them into giving her the Bb. Pilipinas-World title?!

But I have a theory. Maybe those foreigners who are also judges made Janina's score so high so that she could compete in the Miss World pageant. That being said, these foreign judges won't have to worry about the Philippines winning against their countries in the international pageant.

This is so embarrassing. I'm sure the country wouldn't bag the Miss World title this year.

I hoped that Elizabeth Nacuspag would win; she's intelligent and she carries herself so well, but she only came as 2nd runner up. Shame.

I love you Elizabeth! You should've won! You have a unique beauty and big brains that would definitely make our country proud. You should have worn a crown last Saturday.

Speaking of Bb. Pilipinas, I want to join the competition. I want to so badly.

I'm only 17, and I'm 5'2-5'3 in height, so my friends laugh their heads off whenever I tell them that I'm going to join Bb. Pilipinas. One of them, Jil, texted me, "Oh no! Give up. Ang tangkad nila eh. Hindi ka uubra. (they're so tall; you won't stand a chance) Hahaha"

That's why I'm going to take Cherifer multivitamins from now on, thank you!

I have the beauty and the brains (please bear with me XD), the only problem I have now is my height and my excess fats!

I'll reach 5'7 before you know it!

But seriously, I want to represent the Philippines in Ms. Universe. I think I have the chance to win that competition XD Really! I'm not kidding around. So I'm going to grow tall.

III. Math finals

I got a 5 (equivalent to 100) in Algebra last semester. But not listening to Statistics this sem pulled my grade down. My computed average is only a 2, so I have to get a 5 or 4.5 in order to get a 3.5 final grade.

I was desperate to get a high grade in my finals in Stat yesterday, so I, er... cheated?

^_^

I had a codigo.

Now I'm sure I'll get a perfect score. Although I apologized to God after. I knew that I would gain nothing by cheating, and that I'd only be fooling myself, but it was a desperate situation (and I know that that reason still isn't acceptable). Man. If I could transfer to UP or ADMU, I swear that I will try my best not to cheat anymore.

IV. Updates

What's been happening with me lately? Well, I'm just going to put them in bullet form.

  • I had my period! - I'm not sure if this is weird, but I'm grateful whenever I have my period. See, my cycle is irregular, and it takes two to three months before I get another period. There was a time when I became afraid and I prayed, "God, I've realized that I want to have children when I grow up. I want kids who look like me and whom I can call my own. So please, God, let me have my period. I don't want to be barren." And God grants it when I worry again. And whenever He does, I become happy despite the pain in my buttocks. (Another weird thing, I guess. The pain goes to my butt.)
  • We're going to Naga, Bicol this Sunday! So if you guys are going there just tell me ^_^ It's a good thing that we aren't going anywhere near a beach, as my body isn't prepared to wear a bikini. Have to exercise!
  • Still focused on school - but focused isn't the way to put it. Maybe it's just the biggest priority in my life and I'm forcing myself to do my best.
  • I watch American Idol. And I cried hard when Danny Noriega was voted off. :'( Why Danny, of all people? He's got the most colorful personality ever!
Danny, come back! I love you no matter what your sexual preference is!

That's all there is to me right now -_- Boring.

I miss Blogger

I miss writing. And I obviously am not as good a writer now as I was before because of my laziness. I have a harder time detailing my ideas,...
