In with the new!
Anyway, let me wrap this year up: there have been 2 deaths in my immediate family (Sparky and Cindy, our Rottweiler and Labrador, respectively), another 2 with our relatives (Tiya Peting and another Tiya, whose name I forgot :P), my grades have been horrible, my passion has been stagnant, I've disliked some of people I met... but in turn, we got 2 new pets (Brosia and Pakito, a Bulldog and an Akita), our family's relationship strengthened, I met lots of new people (and learned a lot about myself from them, too), I improved on controlling my emotions, I've become more mature, I've become prettier (what? It's true XD), and I got to do lots of things for the first time (and a French kiss isn't part of it =[ ROFL. Too much information, Kring). When I think about it, 2008 is better than the year before it, wherein my life was so jaded, so dull - so gray.
I'm hoping that 2009 would be a very, very good year, and be a whole lot better than 2008. I'll be more optimistic than before so that it'd happen!
-----
LOL, this was my New Year's resolution last year. It's funny, I haven't accomplished most of it.

The mushy and gooey love investigation
First things first. School. I'm stressed! It's as if I'm only starting to adjust to college life. Back at Miriam, I could go the whole semester without studying - and have high grades at that. But in Ateneo - it's different. If you cram, you fail. And that's my very problem. I've got really low grades in Math and Zoology. And the fact that I have to score real high in those subjects in order to get atleast a C (yes, it's that bad!) - it's stressing me out. How do I manage to catch up?
Second, block mates. Ano, sugurin na natin? Haha, kidding XD Things have died down. But the bad vibes are still there. Still, I'm not going to force myself to be liked by this person. If she doesn't like me, it's fine. Actually, now, I don't mind at all. She's just one person who doesn't like me - and there are hundreds of people who like me for the way I am :) Right? Right!
NOW LET'S MOVE ON TO A BETTER TOPIC. I'm crushing on someone! Er, well - If you read this post then you may think that I'm referring to the same guy. Actually I'm not. This one's different. We shall call him Zohan, LOL. He's my classmate in Zoology.
Anyway, Zohan - let's just say that compared to the first guy I was crushing on (let's call him Jai), he's more... attainable XD Jai's a team B player for the Ateneo (and my block mate. Haha. If they read this :O), while Zohan's a normal guy. He isn't really good-looking (which doesn't mean to say he's ugly), so I wasn't attracted to him the first time I saw him. It just developed slowly. I like him 'coz he has a deep, sexy voice (ooh la la), he looks intelligent, and he's kinda cute - for me, at least (chinito, fair skin - kinda pimply, though. *snorts*). Anyway, my attraction for Zohan grew a bit more when he:
A. Helped me out
It was our long test in Zoology, and we needed a Blue Book in order to take the test. And me, ever the henyo, had no Blue Book. I was a bit panicky - I didn't know where to buy one, plus the test was in 5 minutes. But then, Zohan entered the room, holding a cup of coffee and a Blue Book. So I went to him to ask where he got one.
"Uy, san ka nakabili niyan?"
He replied,"Sa caf - halika, samahan na kita."
You guys know how I felt by then ♥ ARTE punyeta.
So we walked. He told me he was sleepy. After a while, I realized that I had forgotten his name (please, I'm terrible with names!), so I asked him:
"Uy... ano nga ba pangalan mo? Sorry ha >.<" He said, "Ang sama mo!" and told me. To challenge him, I asked, "Eh ikaw, alam mo ba pangalan ko?"
I didn't expect that he'd know. "Oo naman," he said, "Kring."
ALARM BELLS STARTED RINGING IN MY HEAD. HAHAHA.
So we got back to the classroom after I bought a Blue Book. By then, my crushing on him, which I didn't really take time to notice, became something I thought of more frequently.
B. He volunteered!
Three weeks ago, we had an activity which was by pairs. And my row-mates were absent, so I was completely alone in my row (3rd row) -_- When our prof asked who among us didn't have a partner, I raised my hand and said, "Ako, miss!" Zohan then looked at me, and all the way from the 1st row, said, "Tayo nalang."
I said, "Okay." but my heart was about to explode from happiness by then. Haha. ARTE punyeta. After pairing, we found out that the activity involved physical contact. Nyahaha.
Okay, so after that, ZERO. We hardly talked, and hardly noticed each other (?). And IDK whether he did the two things mentioned above because he had something for me or because of the circumstances, which are...
In A, he was sleepy and even had coffee with him. Did he accompany me so that he could energize and make himself less sleepy by walking?
In B, well. I guess he had no partner either. -_-
Other than that, he's a Sun Cellular user (why am I making a big deal out of THAT?), and you know Sun users - mga mag-syotang kuripot. XD Argh! What the hell. Can our feelings be mutual? Or am I just fooling myself into thinking that? (Melodramatic music, please) Oh please give me a sign.
Argh! Magkagusto ka sakin please. Hahaha.
---
So anyway, here's another thing. I like this guy, he's the maternal cousin of my paternal cousin (meaning we aren't related by blood), and the weird thing is that I like him even though I haven't seen him for a year and a half. And my tita - his ninang - wants us to be together. Gusto niya kami i-set up. So ako naman si Kilig. Agree ako! LOL. I hope it really does happen. I like him, eh :) So you see...
Torn between two lovers. Dammit. Nagfi-feeling. :))

Seriously?
And that I didn't make it to the top 10 -_-
...
Oh well, people say that dreams that take place on nighttime are opposite to what happens in real life.
So that means that, not only will I get to join Bb. Pilipinas, I'll bring home the crown, too!
Or does it mean that I won't get to join at all?...
...
Probably the former.
---
I'm frustrated right now. And fat.
OMGosh, I couldn't believe how much I gained this past year.
Ever since I graduated from high school, I constantly gained fats!
See??
Before:
Now:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Could I cuss just this once? Could I? ...Oh my fucking goodness! I'm so fucking fat!
So fat, in fact, that even my mom agreed!
When I was in high school I always complained about being fat (well, I always had baby fats since way back when; my tummy has never been flat), but mom would tell me, "Anak, you're just overreacting. You're thin already!" But now whenever I'd complain about that, she'd tell me, "Yan kasi, kain ka ng kain. Ang taba mo na nga. Wag ka na kumain ng kanin at bumalik ka na sa pagta-taebo mo. (That's the consequence of eating too much. You're right; you're already fat. Don't eat rice anymore, and do your taebo again.)"
...
What's up with that -_-
This is so frustrating!
Alright, I'll do as mom tells me.
And I should fall in love, too.
When I was in 2nd year high school I fell in love (puppy love) with someone, and because of constantly being confused and upset, I didn't have any appetite. I actually always felt full even though I didn't eat anything. So as a result, I lost a lot of fat and shed off my piggy image.
But I'm not in love anymore. So I'm regaining my image once again -_-
...
Sigh. I hate my genes. (Haha, I'm putting the blame on my genes once more.)
Dammit. I need to discipline my exercise and food intake. As in, now.
Wish me a whole lot of luck.

A comeback
Anyway, I think the best way for me to express myself to allow myself to be frank. Before, I followed the norm and wrote or spoke an opinion that people wouldn't be displeased about, but now I'm more open to be - well, open - so that I could be true to myself.
Last Valentines day, my friends and I received news that our block mate, Zara, passed away. It has been known to me the following week that she committed suicide.
When talking about her and her death, everything to me seems to shift into a dreamlike mode: strange, unreal. See, it's my first time losing someone so young, and that someone happens to be a sweet and playful girl. I can't believe that she has planned all of this all along - it's not her. She's always happy.
But I have to admit, when Zara was still here, I never really liked her. I think she would have said the same thing about me. We just didn't click. But that doesn't matter anymore; whatever bitchy thing I do now wouldn't affect her anymore.
And is it right if I say that I talk to her even now? I talk to her when I think about her, and when I do, I'd tell her an honest truth that what she did wasn't right. That I'm furious that she took away her life, and that she has already gotten the attention she wanted. Didn't she even think of her family and her friends when she decided to end it all? It's foolish. But it's already happened.
Zara, I don't know where you really are, because religion dictates that you're suffering in the flames now. Wherever you are, that's where you deserve to be. Rest well.
Why did she win?!
Well, yeah, she's beautiful, BUT - what the effing hell is with that effing english?!
Why did she win?!
Here's how her Q&A portion went:
Paolo Bediones: Janina, how are you?Um, Janina? You didn't even answer the question?! Geez. Here's the video of the Q&A portion:
Janina San Miguel: I'm fine.
Paolo Bediones: Alright, so you won two of the major awards - Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?
Janina San Miguel: No, I don't feel any pressure right now.
Paolo Bediones: Confident! Alright! Please choose a name of the judge.
Paolo Bediones: We have Miss Vivienne Tan.
Vivienne Tan: Good Evening.
Janina San Miguel: Good Evening.
Vivienne Tan: The question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to Binibining Pilinas?
Janina San Miguel: Well, my family's role for me is so important b'coz there was the wa- they're, they was the one who's... very... Hahahaha... Oh I'm so sorry, Ahhmm... My pamily... My family... Oh my god... I'm... Ok, I'm so sorry... I... I told you that I'm so confident... Eto, Ahhmm, Wait... Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b'coz I'm only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the top 10. Hmmm, so... but I said that my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.
What's with the judges? Did her sense of humor charm them into giving her the Bb. Pilipinas-World title?!
But I have a theory. Maybe those foreigners who are also judges made Janina's score so high so that she could compete in the Miss World pageant. That being said, these foreign judges won't have to worry about the Philippines winning against their countries in the international pageant.
This is so embarrassing. I'm sure the country wouldn't bag the Miss World title this year.
I hoped that Elizabeth Nacuspag would win; she's intelligent and she carries herself so well, but she only came as 2nd runner up. Shame.
I love you Elizabeth! You should've won! You have a unique beauty and big brains that would definitely make our country proud. You should have worn a crown last Saturday.
Speaking of Bb. Pilipinas, I want to join the competition. I want to so badly.
I'm only 17, and I'm 5'2-5'3 in height, so my friends laugh their heads off whenever I tell them that I'm going to join Bb. Pilipinas. One of them, Jil, texted me, "Oh no! Give up. Ang tangkad nila eh. Hindi ka uubra. (they're so tall; you won't stand a chance) Hahaha"
That's why I'm going to take Cherifer multivitamins from now on, thank you!
I have the beauty and the brains (please bear with me XD), the only problem I have now is my height and my excess fats!
I'll reach 5'7 before you know it!
But seriously, I want to represent the Philippines in Ms. Universe. I think I have the chance to win that competition XD Really! I'm not kidding around. So I'm going to grow tall.
III. Math finals
I was desperate to get a high grade in my finals in Stat yesterday, so I, er... cheated?
^_^
I had a codigo.
Now I'm sure I'll get a perfect score. Although I apologized to God after. I knew that I would gain nothing by cheating, and that I'd only be fooling myself, but it was a desperate situation (and I know that that reason still isn't acceptable). Man. If I could transfer to UP or ADMU, I swear that I will try my best not to cheat anymore.
What's been happening with me lately? Well, I'm just going to put them in bullet form.
- I had my period! - I'm not sure if this is weird, but I'm grateful whenever I have my period. See, my cycle is irregular, and it takes two to three months before I get another period. There was a time when I became afraid and I prayed, "God, I've realized that I want to have children when I grow up. I want kids who look like me and whom I can call my own. So please, God, let me have my period. I don't want to be barren." And God grants it when I worry again. And whenever He does, I become happy despite the pain in my buttocks. (Another weird thing, I guess. The pain goes to my butt.)
- We're going to Naga, Bicol this Sunday! So if you guys are going there just tell me ^_^ It's a good thing that we aren't going anywhere near a beach, as my body isn't prepared to wear a bikini. Have to exercise!
- Still focused on school - but focused isn't the way to put it. Maybe it's just the biggest priority in my life and I'm forcing myself to do my best.
- I watch American Idol. And I cried hard when Danny Noriega was voted off. :'( Why Danny, of all people? He's got the most colorful personality ever!
That's all there is to me right now -_- Boring.

It hurts!
I made this skin! Yay.

Notice how I've been updating less and less? I've just been either busy or lazy, that's all.Ü
Anyway, update. Last Saturday, mum and I went to Edsa Shangrila to buy me a birthday present: the Topshop sweatshirt I've been eyeing on since I first saw it. And thank goodness, it was still there. Quite expensive, though, at 2395 pesos. But it's okay; I mean, it's not everyday that I make luho, right? :D
Here it is:
And if you take a look at the pattern, it's like this:
So cool :D After buying that we went straight to SM Megamall to return dad's oversized Lacoste polo, and I bought some stuff along the way - using my own money. Yeowch.
I really, really love the nail polish sold at The Face Shop. The colors are bright, and when you apply it, the color is solid on your nails. It's expensive compared to other brands (95 pesos), but it's so worth it.
I had two in my collection, but I added three more: light green, magenta, and sky blue. And I'm going to buy a bright, yellow one soon.
Hoorah for The Face Shop!
So all in all, I spent... 1285 pesos from my own money. Sigh. I've really got to go to the bank immediately to deposit my cash, otherwise I'll end up with nothing again. XP
---
Today's the start of the Lenten season, so I'm going to have a reason to fast. Hoorah. :D It's hard to cut down on meals, though, especially when you have a bottomless pit for a stomach. But I can do this!
By the way, I was confused a while ago, coz aside from the start of the Lenten season, it's also a time for celebration - Chinese New Year. So I ate half cups of rice, but I also ate tikoy (glutinous rice cake). I was all, "Damn, what should I be celebrating anyway?! Should I fast or should I be merry?"

Hangover!
HAHAHAHA XD
Take a look at Ray (the one with the afro) he's just casually drinking a beer while Gerard's doing that! XD *Laughs some more*
And this was from the concert five days ago (yes, I'm still counting the days... -_- I'm gonna cry already) It's really cute. Gerard's sending flying kisses to the crowd. :D
Alright, I have to get over this. I'm still having a hangover. Just... MCR please come back. (Haha. Fan girl. Gross.)
But. I just saw some videos of them performing in Taipei (which was two days after their concert here) and I can say that Gerard's sending much more love here in the Philippines. XD
---
Last Sunday mum, dad, and Kyle bought me an early birthday present. Guess what they got me?
..............
.........
....
A bulldog.
Yes! An English bulldog! Though I have a very, very strange feeling that 1.) they used my birthday as an excuse to buy a new dog; and 2.) they bought the 26-thousand peso dog to shut my mouth on requesting them to buy me other stuff.
What I really want is an overnight stay at any five-star hotel in Ortigas plus a sweatshirt from Zara and Topshop. But since they bought a bulldog just in time for my birthday... dammit.
By the way, the dog's a girl. And heavens, I don't know what got into us, we thought it was funny (I think my folks still do), but we named her Brosia.
Just great.
And before officially naming her Brosia, dad called her Berta, his explanation being "Coz it's you bertday!"
Kwakwakwa!
But she's adorable! She's just three months old, her birth date being October 1, 2007. And whenever I sit on the floor, she approaches me and licks my face! Aw, cute. :) But when she grows up she ain't gonna be cute no more.
...
By the way, do you know that her birth certificate says that her name is "Balentina"? Goodness. It's like some person from a faraway mountain named her. And hel-lo, is it right saying "Come her Balentina! Good doggy!" It's like calling Medussa or something. -_-

What Kring (Okay, I'm totally ignoring my true name) Means |
You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life. (Kinda... yeah. That's what smart people do you know. HAHA kidding xD) You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip. (I'm not so sure about this xD) People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them. (Yep, there definitely are times) You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. (I kind of like evolved from a Sloth, you know. But yeah, I rebel when people restrain me too much. It pisses me off) You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. (There are times, yes, but not always) You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. (Coz I laugh at trouble. Bwahaha. In your face, trouble) You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. (Not really. Sometimes I go, so what?) You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. (With the exception of MCR and Gerard, this is true) You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. (OH YES!!! But my biggest problem is making sure I start the project) You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. (I second the motion) You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. (Green thoughts. Haha. Joke.) You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. (TRUE!!! So so true of me) You are deeply philosophical and thoughtful. You tend to analyze every aspect of your life. (Yup! Right you are) You are intuitive, brilliant, and quite introverted. You value your time alone. (Very good. True) Often times, you are grumpy with other people. You don't appreciate them trying to interfere in your affairs. (Yesthisisverytrueofmeboohoo) |

At last!!! I've seen MCR!!! Shooooot it. Gerard Way's sooooo f*cking freaking handsome!!! I'm still having a hangover!!!
Anyway, videos galore. I took all of these from my phone, darn it. Why didn't I bring the digital camera? Anyway, for more videos, click here. (BTW, videos that I put here in my blog? They're the ones you must watch.Ü)
Oh, and I love MCR as MCR, okay? After watching the videos, you may think that I only love My Chemical Romance because of Gerard, haha. But I solemnly swear that MCR is the only band that I'll love like this. (Addiction? Not a healthy thing :-P) I actually know all the songs they sang at the concert by heart!
1. "What's up, Pinoys!" - Not a song, it's Gerard talking! Waaah~!!♥ Oh yeah, Gerard's got a pretty dirty mouth, but I guess he's just like that. LOL. And HEY!! HE'S GOT A WEDDING RING IN HIS FINGER!!! NOOOO!!!
2. "So far away from home" - Again, Gerard talking. Darn it, the more I recollect, the more I'm falling in love! Or like!
3. "Do you guys want to sing a song?" - GERARD! AGAIN! Yeah you guys might be rolling your eyes right now but I don't care! Anyway, GERARD IN HIS MOST FREAKISHLY CUTE VOICE!!! "Do you want to, though?" Cute! But ef it, the cutest voice he made was when he asked us audience, "Can I see you again?" Really cute, like an innocent kid! Too bad I didn't get to record it!
4. "Welcome To The Black Parade" - This generation's Bohemian Rhapsody
5. "We'll come back when we're fucking old men" - Can you believe that? Gerard said they'll come back when they're old men! "...Which is in about four years." Oh okay, I thought you're saying you'll come back when you guys are already sagging and white-haired and have kids with jobs.
Four years! By then I'll be 21, so I'll be legally of age!~ (More of that later)
6. "Cancer" - This is the nicest record I have, dang. Trivia: I sing this song everyday, when I'm brushing my teeth. Coz the song's short, but it's enough for the fluoride in the toothpaste to act on my teeth.
That's that! But again, if you want to see more videos, you could go to Youtube and search my user name, kringlacson.
Oh yeah, after the concert I lingered in the venue a little longer to find a way to meet-and-greet MCR. Have I told you that I even brought my birth certificate to convince the bouncers or whoever to let me in in their tent? (My birthday's next week, so maybe they'll have a little pity on me and let me in) And I was so close! So effing close in meeting My Chemical Romance! But when I was on my way to convince the remaining bouncers/guards (as I've already convinced many others, one of them even told me the way to the tent), I saw the band's van go away!!!
So disappointed. I asked random people in charge of the concert where MCR was staying. Some said Sofitel; others Intercon. Dang it! Why don't they just tell me the effing truth?! Do I look like a crazy Lennon-ish fan?! As if I'll shoot Gerard down if I see him! Wawa. I won't do that!
And yeah, about being 21. Gerard said they'll come back when they're "fucking old mean, which is in about four years" And in that four years, I'll be expecting lots of things when they come back, namely:
Scenario 1. Gerard's going to be single again!
Scenario 2. I'm going to be single (and legal!) at 21!
Scenario 3. I'll win a meet-and-greet contest; or,
Scenario 4. Be a celebrity by that time and be lucky enough to interview/meet-and-greet MCR for free!
Scenario 5. I'm going to meet MCR (not just Gerard, okay), and hug all of them!
Scenario 6. I'm going to give each of them a Barrel Man! (Only in the Philippines!)
Scenario 7. I'm gonna give Gerard some extra TLC!
Scenario 8. Gerard'll find me attractive!
Scenario 9. And the rest is history!
Yes! I can seriously imagine it now! Hahaha!
Darn it! MCR, make sure you come back!!!

Crank dat Soulja Boy!
If you're going to ask me how the ACET went, I'll sum it up in one emote icon:
:-(
I didn't study. But I'm hoping for the best. And I'm not going to prepare for the worst because I cannot not pass. :-D
The Math Proficiency test was challenging. It was full of geometry and trigonometry questions, which I have erased in my memory. And the time pressure in the English Proficiency test was too much. Imagine, we're given just 35 minutes to answer a hundred questions! (We had 55 minutes for that part of the ACET, but the last 25 minutes was spent on our essay) I just can't believe how
But think on the positive side: last school year, I found the ACET easy, but I didn't pass. Now that I find the ACET hard, there is a greater chance that I'll pass! Right?!
Many people prayed for me. I'll definitely pass.
---
Soulja Boy is sweeping a craze over the nation. Or maybe just over my friends.
Last Friday, Jenny and Roseanne came over as the former was going to borrow a cocktail dress (What?! Again??). After choosing, they ate dinner (and left very little for my mom XD), and hung out in my room. They invited me to come with them to Eastwood the following night, but I refused.
And because the topic went to Eastwood, both girls showed me some of their dance steps, particularly that of Soulja Boy.
So here's a video of Jenny dancing. Sorry, my voice and my laugh sound kinda annoying. -___-
Roseanne was definitely a killjoy for a while, but she loosened up. (Sorry, you're going to have a bit of a stiff neck if you're going to watch this video)
But wait. They aren't the only ones who like Soulja Boy. There's Ashleiy!
Saturday: we had a Staffer's Meeting (for our high school yearbook), and after talking about the final alterations, Ashleiy and I went to her place. Her dad was there, as well as three of her brothers... but it's so nice, I'm close with her family (that or my face is just as thick as a wall). They're so fun to be with. :-)
Anyway, back to Soulja Boy. Here's a video of me, Ashleiy, and Mimiw (Ashleiy's niece). Again, I'm going to have to ask you to crane your neck to get a better view:
Ah, Soulja Boy. You do wonders to my friends.
---
Anyway, last Saturday Ashleiy and I were together, right? We went to Sta. Lucia to watch Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. And what can I say?...
IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
I swear. It's my favorite movie of all time now. It's the BEST! THE BEST, I'm telling you! You've really got to watch this movie!!
Here's the trailer!
I'm telling you, it's the best. You won't be disappointed. Oh I love ye, Johnny Depp! You make my heart skip a beat! The best movie ever that Ashleiy and I left the cinema house speechless. We just kept shaking our heads. We even wanted to repeat the movie.
Oh yeah, there are lots of characters in the movie whom we know, too. In other movies, they played the roles of Severus Snape, Peter Pettigrew, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Borat. Man, I have nothing more to say. Just watch the movie!
---
Anyway, moving on...
Ashleiy bought me a book, which serves as her Christmas and birthday gift to me. It's entitled Life of Pi, and it's about a boy, Pi Patel, who was stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with only a Bengal tiger for company. Since it is so, he has to make sure that the tiger is more afraid of him then he is of it.
The book costs P375. And damn this Ashleiy, she asked me for P75 in order to buy the book! Damn! Very nice, right? I had to have a contribution for the gift she'd buy me? LOL, don't worry Ash, I still love you. XD
Oh, and we also window-shopped. I was looking for a yellow pair of jeans, and found it in People Are People. Here are some pictures.
SP_A0385.jpg)
What's that you're touching, Kring? LOL.
Ashleiy looks so much like her sister here.
Nice nice yellow jeans :)
After that, we went to Time Zone to meet up with Ashleiy's brothers and her dad. They were going to bring me home. Very nice of them, really. :-)
The roof top
The Nigguhs! Beautiful, beautiful. Ü
So that concludes my update. I still have to go some school activity. Bye!

So much to do, so little time
"Me, fail english? That's unpossible." -Matt Groening
Anyway, busy week as usual. Rai, JuBa, JoBa, Jil and I had to record a story for our English 102. I had fun actually, my group's so funny. We always joke around so I really looked forward to doing our project.

Yeah, that's us. ;P Clockwise from left: JoBa, me, Justine, Jil, and Rai
I don't have anything to write about. Nothing's happening in my life right now. Well, I'm waiting for Christmas vacation so that I could finally fix my life (life=studies. LOL XP). I made such a mess these past two months that the only way things could return to normal is through a long, fruitful vacation. Yes! Only a week to go! You could go through this, KrinGALING. Ü

For those of you who missed the Amazing Race Asia Season 2 episode 2 which was shot here in the Philippines...
Chenen!!! Ü (Watch it!)
If you want to finish the episode, you could either check the menu or type 'Amazing Race Asia 2 Ep 2' in Youtube.
Oh goodness, Marc and Rovilson are first to arrive to the pit stop again. Which is good! I'm mighty happy and proud of them. Henry and Terri are also a great team, they fight a lot but I love them. They're actually kinda funny, especially Terri 'coz she shouts a lot. Haha. But other people just damn hate her, even some Filipinos! Come on, people! The race has got her stressed out so she's cranky, of course, but I don't think she's like that all the time!
Amazing Race Asia is my favorite show of all time. I can't wait for the next episode. Go team Philippines!

By the way, last Sunday, dad, mom, me, and my brothers checked the Mini Cooper which my tito's cousin is selling. And the Mini Cooper was just... so beautiful.
See that? It's really nice: very shiny and a head-turner. But it's as if dad will buy this car. He wouldn't. And to think it's being sold at only 2oo-300K pesos. Well, it's okay. Dad said something about having a Mini Cooper when I'm only a beginner; that those large trucks wouldn't see the car and might smash it, so it's cool with me.
So I have much plans this vacation. Aside from the driving lessons, I'm also going to take up cooking lessons (more of that later), and hopefully piano lessons. And there's also my application of tranfer to UP. And... there's also my family's (and relatives') plan of going to either Boracay or Batanes(!). So much to do! I can't wait for summer! Ü
Okay, so about the cooking lessons. I don't know how to cook. Really, I'm such a loser. I feel that I'm so worthless as I can't do anything; my true potential is still untapped even at this old age of mine (sixteen!). And I believe in doing absolutely everything while I'm still alive, you know? That's the only way I could reach my ultimate goal: self-actualization (thank you, Maslow!). That's sort of like Nirvana, I guess.
Here's how my conversation (on the cooking lessons) with mom went...
Me: Mom?
Mom: Yeah?
Me: Could I have cooking lessons this summer?
Mom: (Without hesitation) Okay.
I was like, what? She approved that fast? Wow, uh, great, I guess
One reason why I'd like to learn to cook is to have more of a feeling of self-importance. But the primary reason is... "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" Hahahaha.
Come on, I want to know how to cook when I get my first boyfriend, man! (Yes, I'm an NBSB. No BF Since Birth. And also a girl who has NBK. Never Been Kissed. Haha. Am I sharing too much of my innocence already?)
Alright, long post, I guess. This is an accomplishment. Sorry for the typos.

First off, I experienced a hell of a week because I crammed a lot. I did everything the last minute, plus there was always the sense of urgency, so I was always stressed out. Add that to the absolute hate I feel for my school. Tragic.
Anyway, I don't want to talk about school anymore. I'm jaded. I just want to get out of there. School's driving me crazy.

I want to share this with all of you.
When you want something, what do you usually say?
"I wish,"
I wish I could pass the test, I wish he'd ask me out, whatever.
I'm telling you, don't use "I wish" use "I hope" instead.
Why?
According to my brother's English teacher, "I wish" is asking for something which you know is almost impossible. However, "I hope" is asking for something which you know is possible. And besides, what's the Tagalog word for "hoping"?
"Umaasa" Expecting.
See? So always make sure to use the word hope intead of wish. Besides, the former has a better ring than the latter, right?

Last tuesday, I finished reading Hana Yori Dango, a manga which I've downloaded from this site. Actually, Meteor Garden is based from this manga. And what can I say... I'm still suffering (yes, suffering) from a hangover. IT'S FREAKING GREAT!!! Freaking great. One of if not my favorite Japanese comic of all time. Ü
Characters:
The Heroine:
The F4:
The friends:
The family:
Troublemakers:
I recommend this manga. It isn't sexual or the like, but it's romantic. Aside from that, Hana Yori Dango's comical. Let me show you one of the scenes (click to enlarge):
Haha. That scene still gets me. XD
Anyway, after I finished reading (and even while I was reading it), I just can't help be jealous of the heroine. I hope someone like Doumyouji Tsukasa would love me. I want someone like him! Why? Coz he's rich! Kidding aside, he's very loyal, and very, very loving, and he likes to show it. Ah basta! Just read the manga and you'll get me!
Aside from that... I want to be in love. Fufufu. Mushy mode. Ah man, Hana Yori Dango just influences my emotions too much. But really, I don't know what it feels to be in love. I'm an N.B.S.B. (No BF Since Birth) girl. Basta, I hope to find someone like Doumyouji. ^^
Read Hana Yori Dango and you'll never regret it. :)

Today I cut class (Math and Sociology) to watch Batanes with Cha. The movie's great! Yup, yup. I like it. But the ending was a bit... terse. Nakakabitin. Ken Zhu/Chu got so fat! But I like him, he's a good actor, and handsome. He and Iza are so cute.
Anyway, after the movie, Cha and I went window-shopping. The salesladies at Mango reprimanded us for taking pictures in the dressing room. -_- Whattheef I didn't know that taking pictures weren't allowed in the dressing room, sorry.
But before Mango, we went to People Are People...
Oh, Love love love these shoes!
Damn, I look 10 times uglier when Cha's beside me -_- Demon, be gone!
No good. I still look 10 times uglier.
Me taking a picture while Cha's beautifying herself (and to think she was a lesbian back at first semester... ^^V)
Fine, you win! I accept defeat only from you!SP_A0106.jpg)
Cha looks retarded here. Haha. IloveyouCha. :)
Mango: then here's our pictures which caused a fiasco among the salesladies...

Goths.
Pregnant people on tube tops... -_-
She doesn't know how to pose for a solo picture!
...Yeah, right.
AND ANOTHER BIG, BIG, "YEAH, RIGHT!!!" XD
Aw, whatever Cha XD Visit her blog at capricious-insanity.blogspot.com. Ü
