Hangover!

Okay, this video might be a little gross to non-MCR fans, but I just find it so funny that I have to post it in the blog. =)

HAHAHAHA XD

Take a look at Ray (the one with the afro) he's just casually drinking a beer while Gerard's doing that! XD *Laughs some more*

And this was from the concert five days ago (yes, I'm still counting the days... -_- I'm gonna cry already) It's really cute. Gerard's sending flying kisses to the crowd. :D

Alright, I have to get over this. I'm still having a hangover. Just... MCR please come back. (Haha. Fan girl. Gross.)

But. I just saw some videos of them performing in Taipei (which was two days after their concert here) and I can say that Gerard's sending much more love here in the Philippines. XD

---

Last Sunday mum, dad, and Kyle bought me an early birthday present. Guess what they got me?

..............

.........

....

A bulldog.

Yes! An English bulldog! Though I have a very, very strange feeling that 1.) they used my birthday as an excuse to buy a new dog; and 2.) they bought the 26-thousand peso dog to shut my mouth on requesting them to buy me other stuff.

What I really want is an overnight stay at any five-star hotel in Ortigas plus a sweatshirt from Zara and Topshop. But since they bought a bulldog just in time for my birthday... dammit.

By the way, the dog's a girl. And heavens, I don't know what got into us, we thought it was funny (I think my folks still do), but we named her Brosia.

Brosia! Isn't that the maid from the comic Pugad Baboy?!

Oh great -____-

Just great.

And before officially naming her Brosia, dad called her Berta, his explanation being "Coz it's you bertday!"

Kwakwakwa!

But she's adorable! She's just three months old, her birth date being October 1, 2007. And whenever I sit on the floor, she approaches me and licks my face! Aw, cute. :) But when she grows up she ain't gonna be cute no more.

...

By the way, do you know that her birth certificate says that her name is "Balentina"? Goodness. It's like some person from a faraway mountain named her. And hel-lo, is it right saying "Come her Balentina! Good doggy!" It's like calling Medussa or something. -_-

What Kring (Okay, I'm totally ignoring my true name) Means

You are a seeker of knowledge, and you have learned many things in your life. (Kinda... yeah. That's what smart people do you know. HAHA kidding xD)
You are also a keeper of knowledge - meaning you don't spill secrets or spread gossip. (I'm not so sure about this xD)
People sometimes think you're snobby or aloof, but you're just too deep in thought to pay attention to them. (Yep, there definitely are times)

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. (I kind of like evolved from a Sloth, you know. But yeah, I rebel when people restrain me too much. It pisses me off)
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. (There are times, yes, but not always)
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. (Coz I laugh at trouble. Bwahaha. In your face, trouble)

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. (Not really. Sometimes I go, so what?)
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. (With the exception of MCR and Gerard, this is true)
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. (OH YES!!! But my biggest problem is making sure I start the project)

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. (I second the motion)
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. (Green thoughts. Haha. Joke.)
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. (TRUE!!! So so true of me)

You are deeply philosophical and thoughtful. You tend to analyze every aspect of your life. (Yup! Right you are)
You are intuitive, brilliant, and quite introverted. You value your time alone. (Very good. True)
Often times, you are grumpy with other people. You don't appreciate them trying to interfere in your affairs. (Yesthisisverytrueofmeboohoo)

What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

I chose Kring coz I'm more comfortable with it than Krizelle or Krizelle Anne. I feel that my nick defines me more. Well, I tried out my true name, too, and I got a slightly different result, but I'm going to stick to this.

At last!!! I've seen MCR!!! Shooooot it. Gerard Way's sooooo f*cking freaking handsome!!! I'm still having a hangover!!!

Anyway, videos galore. I took all of these from my phone, darn it. Why didn't I bring the digital camera? Anyway, for more videos, click here. (BTW, videos that I put here in my blog? They're the ones you must watch.Ü)

Oh, and I love MCR as MCR, okay? After watching the videos, you may think that I only love My Chemical Romance because of Gerard, haha. But I solemnly swear that MCR is the only band that I'll love like this. (Addiction? Not a healthy thing :-P) I actually know all the songs they sang at the concert by heart!

1. "What's up, Pinoys!" - Not a song, it's Gerard talking! Waaah~!!♥ Oh yeah, Gerard's got a pretty dirty mouth, but I guess he's just like that. LOL. And HEY!! HE'S GOT A WEDDING RING IN HIS FINGER!!! NOOOO!!!

2. "So far away from home" - Again, Gerard talking. Darn it, the more I recollect, the more I'm falling in love! Or like!

3. "Do you guys want to sing a song?" - GERARD! AGAIN! Yeah you guys might be rolling your eyes right now but I don't care! Anyway, GERARD IN HIS MOST FREAKISHLY CUTE VOICE!!! "Do you want to, though?" Cute! But ef it, the cutest voice he made was when he asked us audience, "Can I see you again?" Really cute, like an innocent kid! Too bad I didn't get to record it!

4. "Welcome To The Black Parade" - This generation's Bohemian Rhapsody

5. "We'll come back when we're fucking old men" - Can you believe that? Gerard said they'll come back when they're old men! "...Which is in about four years." Oh okay, I thought you're saying you'll come back when you guys are already sagging and white-haired and have kids with jobs.

Four years! By then I'll be 21, so I'll be legally of age!~ (More of that later)

6. "Cancer" - This is the nicest record I have, dang. Trivia: I sing this song everyday, when I'm brushing my teeth. Coz the song's short, but it's enough for the fluoride in the toothpaste to act on my teeth.

That's that! But again, if you want to see more videos, you could go to Youtube and search my user name, kringlacson.

Oh yeah, after the concert I lingered in the venue a little longer to find a way to meet-and-greet MCR. Have I told you that I even brought my birth certificate to convince the bouncers or whoever to let me in in their tent? (My birthday's next week, so maybe they'll have a little pity on me and let me in) And I was so close! So effing close in meeting My Chemical Romance! But when I was on my way to convince the remaining bouncers/guards (as I've already convinced many others, one of them even told me the way to the tent), I saw the band's van go away!!! NOOOO!!! They're gone!!!

So disappointed. I asked random people in charge of the concert where MCR was staying. Some said Sofitel; others Intercon. Dang it! Why don't they just tell me the effing truth?! Do I look like a crazy Lennon-ish fan?! As if I'll shoot Gerard down if I see him! Wawa. I won't do that!

And yeah, about being 21. Gerard said they'll come back when they're "fucking old mean, which is in about four years" And in that four years, I'll be expecting lots of things when they come back, namely:

Scenario 1. Gerard's going to be single again!
Scenario 2. I'm going to be single (and legal!) at 21!
Scenario 3. I'll win a meet-and-greet contest; or,
Scenario 4. Be a celebrity by that time and be lucky enough to interview/meet-and-greet MCR for free!
Scenario 5. I'm going to meet MCR (not just Gerard, okay), and hug all of them!
Scenario 6. I'm going to give each of them a Barrel Man! (Only in the Philippines!)
Scenario 7. I'm gonna give Gerard some extra TLC!
Scenario 8. Gerard'll find me attractive!
Scenario 9. And the rest is history!

Yes! I can seriously imagine it now! Hahaha!

Darn it! MCR, make sure you come back!!!

Crank dat Soulja Boy!

Yay, I'm finally going to have a decent update.

If you're going to ask me how the ACET went, I'll sum it up in one emote icon:

:-(

I didn't study. But I'm hoping for the best. And I'm not going to prepare for the worst because I cannot not pass. :-D

The Math Proficiency test was challenging. It was full of geometry and trigonometry questions, which I have erased in my memory. And the time pressure in the English Proficiency test was too much. Imagine, we're given just 35 minutes to answer a hundred questions! (We had 55 minutes for that part of the ACET, but the last 25 minutes was spent on our essay) I just can't believe how bad I've done hard it was.

But think on the positive side: last school year, I found the ACET easy, but I didn't pass. Now that I find the ACET hard, there is a greater chance that I'll pass! Right?!

Many people prayed for me. I'll definitely pass.

---

Soulja Boy is sweeping a craze over the nation. Or maybe just over my friends.

Last Friday, Jenny and Roseanne came over as the former was going to borrow a cocktail dress (What?! Again??). After choosing, they ate dinner (and left very little for my mom XD), and hung out in my room. They invited me to come with them to Eastwood the following night, but I refused.

And because the topic went to Eastwood, both girls showed me some of their dance steps, particularly that of Soulja Boy.

So here's a video of Jenny dancing. Sorry, my voice and my laugh sound kinda annoying. -___-

Roseanne was definitely a killjoy for a while, but she loosened up. (Sorry, you're going to have a bit of a stiff neck if you're going to watch this video)

But wait. They aren't the only ones who like Soulja Boy. There's Ashleiy!

Saturday: we had a Staffer's Meeting (for our high school yearbook), and after talking about the final alterations, Ashleiy and I went to her place. Her dad was there, as well as three of her brothers... but it's so nice, I'm close with her family (that or my face is just as thick as a wall). They're so fun to be with. :-)

Anyway, back to Soulja Boy. Here's a video of me, Ashleiy, and Mimiw (Ashleiy's niece). Again, I'm going to have to ask you to crane your neck to get a better view:

Ah, Soulja Boy. You do wonders to my friends.

---

Anyway, last Saturday Ashleiy and I were together, right? We went to Sta. Lucia to watch Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. And what can I say?...

IT'S THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

I swear. It's my favorite movie of all time now. It's the BEST! THE BEST, I'm telling you! You've really got to watch this movie!!

Here's the trailer!

I'm telling you, it's the best. You won't be disappointed. Oh I love ye, Johnny Depp! You make my heart skip a beat! The best movie ever that Ashleiy and I left the cinema house speechless. We just kept shaking our heads. We even wanted to repeat the movie.

Oh yeah, there are lots of characters in the movie whom we know, too. In other movies, they played the roles of Severus Snape, Peter Pettigrew, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Borat. Man, I have nothing more to say. Just watch the movie!

---

Anyway, moving on...

Ashleiy bought me a book, which serves as her Christmas and birthday gift to me. It's entitled Life of Pi, and it's about a boy, Pi Patel, who was stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with only a Bengal tiger for company. Since it is so, he has to make sure that the tiger is more afraid of him then he is of it.

The book costs P375. And damn this Ashleiy, she asked me for P75 in order to buy the book! Damn! Very nice, right? I had to have a contribution for the gift she'd buy me? LOL, don't worry Ash, I still love you. XD

Oh, and we also window-shopped. I was looking for a yellow pair of jeans, and found it in People Are People. Here are some pictures.

What's that you're touching, Kring? LOL.

Ashleiy looks so much like her sister here.

Nice nice yellow jeans :)

After that, we went to Time Zone to meet up with Ashleiy's brothers and her dad. They were going to bring me home. Very nice of them, really. :-)

The roof top

The Nigguhs! Beautiful, beautiful. Ü

So that concludes my update. I still have to go some school activity. Bye!

Cramming is still the best policy

Henry and Terri got eliminated in The Amazing Race Asia.

:'-(

I'm so freaking sad!

But if you like the team of Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez (just like I do :), then you'll appreciate this video.

These guys represent the Philippines but they suck at speaking Tagalog. Certified... bobo! *ting ting ting!* XD
---

School days this week were HELL. Especially Wednesday and Thursday. The latter because we had 3 preliminary exams (Can you imagine? Three bloody exams? And that included both my majors, too!), and the former because my group mates and I had to cram our Sociology research project which was due later that day.

Yeah, about Wednesday. We were going to have our preliminaries on Sociology, and our prof told us that she wouldn't let us take the test if we didn't have our research papers. So my group mates and I crammed, and crammed, and crammed some more... which was a bit nerve-wracking because we were told about doing that project two months ago. So yeah, we were kind of slow, and we had to do two months of research in just one day. The hell!

And because I was paranoid, I had to sneak out of my Math class to finish the paper! And my block mates told me that our Math prof noticed I was gone and kept asking about where I was -_-

Stupid Sociology paper. Why didn't you just die out of the memory of our prof? By the way, I invented some of the stuff in the paper, like the statistics (out of our 153 correspondents, 43% said blah blah...). Wth, what do you expect I could do for just one day?

And if I were to put that whole situation in a picture, it'd have to be this:

Enough of that already. I'll just consider it a bad memory. >.<

---

I'll try to have a good update tomorrow. Tomorrow's going to be a good day :)

Flashback: Senior's Night

Jenny came over yesterday to borrow a cocktail dress for the two debuts she'll be attending. After trying the three dresses I offered, she chose to use the cocktail dress I wore on the Senior's Night last March 2007.

How does it look on her? You be the judge. XD

I told Jenny that she might as well borrow the shoes I wore on the Senior's Night, too, because they're a good match with the dress. But she found the heels too high, so she refused.

Wait, you better see how the dress looked on me, too. This picture was taken before going to the Senior's Night with my parents. I know I look like an auntie in the picture alright, haha.

Oh, and I'd like to share who my partner was, too! Meet Jomi!

Take 1: no good. The picture's blurry.

Take 2: still no good. We look like idiots!

Take 3: -____- Even worse. I guess we're not meant to be together in a picture.

What's with the touch? -_-

Jomi's the maternal cousin of my paternal cousin (get it?). Actually, we met for the first time in four years because of the Senior's Night. I begged him to go with me since I can't think of anyone else to be my partner -__- The despair of going to an all-girls school! And up until now I'm still in an all-girls school, dammit. And the Senior's Night was the last time we saw each other, too! LOL. Very business-like right?! (Damn you, Jomi, you were supposed to attend Ashleiy's birthday last month!)

And speaking of Ashleiy - well, she's one of if not the the closest friends I have, so I practically spent most of my time with her.

Dinner, table mates. There's Ashleiy, with her partner Nuel, and me with Jomi.

And here are some random snapshots with Nigga Ashleiy:

And wait, how could my Senior's Night be complete without my barkada, right? :) I miss them. And our fourth anniversary as a kada is near, too (January 14).

So I was just supposed to show Jenny's picture and I ended up showing my pictures, right. LOL.

You only lived to be 30

Dear Sparky,

I never expected you to leave like this. I thought you'd live long, just like Cindy, as you were so full of energy, and I feel that you had so much optimism in you. I know we have been cruel to you, keeping you locked in your cage for long periods of time, and took a walk with you only when we weren't lazy enough to do so. Maybe because of that and of forgetting to vaccinate you for two years have you come to depart with us so suddenly. Six years only, huh - you only lived to be 30.

I know I haven't shown you how deeply I loved you, as I was afraid that you'd jump over me and dirty my clothes, just like you also did. But know that if I could have, I would've played with you the whole day, then you'd chase me; if you get me then I'd laugh, go on my knees, and hug you tightly. I wish I did that.

Kyle and Bryan were shocked, too, you know - even more shocked than I was. I thought Bryan was going to cry, even. It was just a few minutes after your body was sent here that they arrived from school, and I told them, "You know what's inside that big plastic bag? Sparky." Kyle's eyes widened, but Bryan took the news badly. He kept repeating it to himself - that you left - took his bike, and got away. Got away from all of it. I went along with him, as I needed to take Cindy for a stroll, but the moment I lost sight of Bryan has he gotten himself in trouble. He was confronted by the mother of a certain school mate as he answered a polite question (by this school mate of his) ever so rudely. Of course, I fixed the trouble, but that mess made my heart even heavier than it already was.

You know, Sparky, even my parents are sad about it. As soon as I texted him, dad got sad and pitied you, but wanted to dispose of you immediately as he didn't want my brothers to see you. He knew we couldn't bear to see you like this. I remember the times when he himself took care of you when you were sick, giving you vitamins and buying human food for you to eat. I wonder, why didn't you want to eat your food as soon as you got sick? Oh, and mom - she called and asked about how we were going to put you in the ground. I know that that was too to the point, but I know deep inside she's grieving, like all of us are.

By the way, I know this is kind of cold: we didn't cry. But, hey, Ate Vangie did. She was the first to be informed of what happened, as she was the one the vet talked to. But anyway, when Kyle and Bryan arrived from school, I saw Ate Vangie; her eyes were red. I don't think I've ever seen her eyes red before.

Sparky, though we didn't cry, we miss you. I miss you terribly. The last time I saw you alive was... January 3? You were in a cage, at the vet. You had dextrose, you were weak, you weren't eating. And you had so much sand in your eyes. The vet said you had canine distemper. I didn't know what that was then, and I didn't think it was fatal. But I stand corrected.

I started to write this an hour ago, and just now, Ate Vangie, Bryan, and some neighborhood friends already took you and brought you to your resting place. I feel so sad right now, Sparky. I feel so guilty for not showing you the affection you needed. I feel bad for having locked you up for the 30 dog years you lived. You really deserved better.

Rest well.

Xiaxue's Guide to Life

Want to brighten up your day? Then watch...

...this. :D Xiaxue's guide to life, Episode 9: Playing Aunt Agony

I'm not very interested in Xiaxue, but this episode of hers made me laugh a lot. Although I couldn't understand her accent that much, so I didn't get the last part, which might be the funniest portion.

Ho man - she's really funny, and very frank! And do you know her claim to fame? WTH - her blog. She was just an ordinary girl, but because her blog's so comical, she was discovered.

I like Xiaxue's blog, though there were times when I hated her for what she wrote. Like, for example, when she wrote about Nicole's rape case. She didn't get away with it, of course, because of the violent reactions from the readers. But she's mellowed down now, and I'm cool with her blog again.
Anyway, enough about Xiaxue - just watch the video! It really is funny. :D

Rushes

Sheesh, I've gotten lazy at blogging. Again. Maybe I'm just too preoccupied with getting my grades up that I've been neglecting some things, including posting. Which I don't really regret, as nothing blog-worthy has been happening in my life.

But I'm a little concerned. I think my writing's getting bad. I mean, I get all confused with literary things such as sentence construction, tenses, spelling (!) and the like. Talk about frustrating - as of now, this is the only talent that I have, and I don't want to degrade it.

Anyway, I'm happy with how school went the past week. My current English 102 grade is - to my surprise - high, as well as my long test in Child and Adolescent Development. I should be inspired with this miracle! I need to get out of Miriam! I think I'm going to die inside if I keep going to that school.

And speaking of transferring, Ateneo's entrance test is coming up, and I'm more agitated than I expected. I hope I pass the ACET.

Well, that's all for now. Bye!

New year, new things

Happy new year, everyone!

Last night my relatives went to our house to celebrate the new year. As usual, I spent my time with the grown-ups, 'coz they make every moment hilarious. But aside from the usual teasing, joking, and fooling around, the grown-ups also planned where we would be going on the Holy Week, and after much discussion, they have finally concluded that we're going to Batanes (remember Iza Calzado and Ken Chu's movie?), located at the northernmost tip of the Philippines, just a few miles away from Taiwan.

Worth the Hike by ~misternow on Deviantart
Stronghold by ~drjulian on Deviantart
The sad part about going to Batanes is that we will be leaving the kids. They won't be coming with us as the air fare is expensive (10 thousand pesos per person), so as a result only eight of us are going. But it's okay with me! Haha!

Aside from that, we'll be bringing beer. Lots of it. Well, we the grown-up's won't be drinking all of it; instead they're going to trade some of it with the locals in exchange for coconut crabs, which in the Philippines, I think, can only be found in Batanes.

Why trade with beer, you ask? Since Batanes is at the northernmost tip, storms always come to the island, so import of products is slow. As a result, beer is very seldom found in Batanes, and the locals crave for it. So we'll be bringing beer to trade with expensive coconut crabs~! (Coconut crabs are absolutely delicious because they only eat, well, coconuts) Smart idea? Smart, indeed. XD

I can't wait to go to Batanes, but honestly, I prefer going to Boracay. I love Boracay's sand, sea, and night life! And besides, the reason why I've been exercising and dieting is for me to show off my body in Boracay! Come on!

Summer by ~psychepi on Deviantart

Boracay, I've been longing to reunite with you. I want to step on your cool sands; bathe on your cold waters; and interact with the many who do the same. I want to island-hop again, and I want to drink again while listening to bands playing in the night. Unfortunately, I would have to spend my Holy Week with another, who is Batanes; the one they call the Slice of Heaven. Though this is so, know that you have forever engraved your beauty in my memory, and that one day, I will return for you.

---

Wait! Wait! Last night, my brothers and cousins showed me this video clip from the show Family Guy. It's so funny! You must watch it! Freaking hilarious, dude.

And this is the real life version made by the Four Sexy Men. Their acting skills aren't the best, but they still got me.

And speaking of Family Guy, Jack TV is gone! I don't know where that channel went. -_- It was replaced yesterday by Maxxx. Oh my, I won't get to watch War at Home anymore! :-(

School starts tomorrow! I've been looking forward to it the way I look forward to the Third World War. *knocks on wood*

I miss Blogger

I miss writing. And I obviously am not as good a writer now as I was before because of my laziness. I have a harder time detailing my ideas,...
